I'm searching informations for a route in Xueshan for 5-7 days to join - Holy Ridge trail, main peak, east peak and west peak, but I'm not very lucky. Did someone had any experience on this trail? If yes, please share your experience and advices! I was hoping I'll find some video footage/photos to get an idea on the difficulty and views. Thank you for your time!

Possible! Pero take note that you'll be needing a stronger stove than the usual stove that we use in the Philippines. Since mas mataas ang Mt. Fuji, mas matagal din ang boiling point dahil sa lack of oxygen at sa lamig. Sana makatulong!

i wouldnt recommend a folding umbrella on mount fuji. if it really is a downpour with strong winds, that umbrella will get blown away or worse broken (leaving you with a deadweight) and if its crowded, you will poke into others. especially considering weather can change fast in july. learning from my mistakes in 2019, i will pack a hardshell raincoat to cover my water-resistant jacket and pants. most soft-shells will be soaked from the rain, water will block the pores and your sweat is trapped.

We did Mt. Fuji off season this year, and failed to make it in time for the last bus in the Yoshida trail, so we ended up walking back to ground level at nigh, through the forests back to Mt. Fuji station. All in all, it was a total of 44km 17 hours hike that day. So tiring! D

Did you bother checking the weather forecast before you left? Did you let anyone know that you were heading off? Seems irresponsible to me and you were lucky that you got back in one piece without frostbite on your unprepared faces. A better walk on a calm, sunny day.

He had a guide so obviously people knew they were out and they had plenty of supplies. Also maybe he wanted to experience the mountain during winter instead of on a nice sunny day.
